That Halloween night at 3 a.m., at a gas station of all places, I met Pastor Rich. He was there with others, praying for people, and I ended up being one of them. He even gave me his number, which I didn't use at first.
A few months later, my wife, a new follower of Christ, was searching for a church. She wanted somewhere that felt like a family. I was going through my phone when I saw 'Rich' and remembered - this was the guy who prayed for me at the gas station. He's a pastor and he has a house church! We found out he lived just down the street, and they were having a revival that night.
We went to the revival, and it was amazing. We heard powerful testimonies and songs from members of The RROC. That night, I gave my life to Christ. The next day, on Mother’s Day, my wife and I got baptized at Pastor Rich's house. That experience changed everything for me. It felt like I'd been lost, angry and depressed, but suddenly I found love, peace, and joy.
At The RROC, we learned so much. Pastor Rich and Pastor Carline taught us about what it really means to be a follower of Christ. We saw people's lives transformed, and we all kept each other accountable. One year later, my wife and I are now lead deacons in the church. We help disciple people, do Bible studies, and even pray for people at the altar.
Thanks to The RROC, I now own a successful business. It's been a blessing to be under Pastor Rich and Pastor Carline. They're amazing people who've helped us on our spiritual journey. It's been an honor to be part of this community, and we're grateful for everything Jesus has done for us.
